Hi, I’m Karissa in other worIds I am also known as Deviedna. In my first life I have always been a computer (in a way but not supper techie) geek but I do know my way around computers. I had worked as a Computer Technical Support Advisor for several years. Even before I had gotten into Virtual Worlds I was creating art using Photoshop as a hobby. I have been in Virtual Worlds for many years and like Dylan I started off in the virtual chat site without walking. At the time I had no idea that there were worlds where you could walk. When I found that there are other options I was ecstatic.
After the Virtual Chat site I set up in a Virtual World that was started up and owned by a wonderful couple who had the goal of creating a world that I found to be very agreeable. Unfortunately it didn’t last since it was their only income and a venture like that can cost quite a bit. While there I learned a lot about creating and working with textures. The world wasn’t prim based so I couldn’t build but I did build up quite an inventory of textures. Now I have a goal to create with Dylan our own Virtual World where I hope others join and help us create areas of beauty and harmony and of course some great music and dancing. It just wouldn’t be fun without gatherings, parties and dancing to give us a break from building and creating. I hope to meet many new friends in Shangri La.
