The book was later brought to the big screen as “Lost Horizon” (1937), Starring Ronald Colman and Jane Wyatt. Shangri-La as a mystical, harmonious valley, gently guided Tibetan monks. Shangri-La has become synonymous with any earthly paradise, and particularly a mythical Himalayan utopia – a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world.
Imagine now a timeless world free of strife and where you live with others who wish to live in harmony. A world of free expression. Imagine the tranquil valley of Shangri La today, but with it’s roots based on the classic novel written in 1933.
